To Install:

1.Clean shaft,bore,and outside of bushing,and bore of hub(taking bushing from hub if already assembled).Remove any oil.lacquer,or dirt.
Placing bushing in hub and match half holes to make complete holes(each complete hole will be threaded on 1 side only).

2.Oil thread and point of set screws or thread and under head of cap screws.
Place screws loosely in holes thatare threaded in hub 1 side see install bore.

3.Make sure bushing is free in hub.Slip assembly CHINAMFG shaft and locatd in position desired.

4.Tighten screws alternately and evenly until all are pulled up very tightly.Use a piece of pipe on wrench to increase leverage,
please refer to taper bushing screw torque which need to be asked.

5.If stall key,place it in the shaft keyway before install taper bushing.

6.After drive has been running under load for a short time stop and check tightness of screws.Fill other holes with grease to exclude dirt.

The high-quality D-series v-belts we provide are manufactured according to the ISO 9001 specification, with oil and heat resistance, and can be directly interchanged with other brands. Several types of pulleys are used in v-belt drive, and each pulley has different implementation methods. When the back of the v-belt is used to rotate the pulley in the opposite direction to the driven pulley, it is occasionally appropriate to use a flat pulley, usually for ribbed v-belts.
Standard pulley sizes have 1 or more grooves to match classic small engines and hexagonal v-belts.
The mating pulley contains integral spokes that run radially on the pulley. This results in a high strength-to-weight ratio in favor of fractional horsepower pulleys.
In many v-belt drives, the idler pulley is only used as a belt tensioner, but it plays a vital role in maintaining the tension required for the drive. Idler pulleys reduce belt life and industrial efficiency. However, these tools are required if the driver has to remove obstacles or if the driven pulley cannot maintain a good contact arc with the v-belt to transmit torque. The idler gear can interact with the tapered or flat side of the v-belt because there is no need to send torque to the shaft.
The variable speed pulley has an adjustable pitch of the driven RPM, usually within the range expressed as a percentage. These pulleys also help maintain belt tension for dynamic loads.
The stepped pulley has 2 or more nonadjustable grooves with different pitches around the same shaft. These pulleys change the speed ratio of the transmission.

Standard Mounting

1. Be sure that the tapered cone surfaces on the bushing and the inside of the driven product is clean and free of oil or any anti-seize lubricants.
2. Slide the QD bushing on shaft, flange end first, then assemble key.
3. Position the QD bushing on the shaft. Tighten the set screw over the key (hand tight) with a standard Allen wrench only. Do not use excessive force.
4. Slide the large end of sprocket or other part taper bore into position over the cone aligning drilled bolt holes in the sprocket or other part with tapered holes into flange of bushing. Then assemble the pull-up bolts and lock washers.
5. Tighten pull-up bolts alternatively and evenly to tightness indicated in the torque table below. Do not use extensions on the wrench handles. There should now be a gap between the face of the sprocket or other part hub and the flange of the QD bushing to insure a satisfactory cone grip and press fit. Caution: this gap must not be closed.

 

Dismounting

1. Remove all pull-up bolts and screw them into tapped holes in sprocket or other part, against flange of QD bushing to break the cone grip.
2. Loosen set screw and slide QD bushing from shaft.
